Alex Hirsch built a mystery box that actually pays off, with a beginning, middle, and end, and jokes dense enough to reward pausing.
The characters grow, the stakes escalate honestly, and the finale is one of the few in animation that feels like a genuine ending. If you have somehow never seen it, start tonight.
