The final arc of Bleach, adapted a decade after the original series stopped, and it is staggering how good it looks: movie grade animation, brutal choreography, and a story with actual stakes after years of the original show spinning its wheels. The Quincy war pulls every thread Kubo ever planted, finally explains the missing pieces of Soul Society history, and gives characters who waited 366 episodes their moment.
The best part for new viewers: zero filler. Every episode is canon, the pacing is tight, and the cour structure means the story arrives in focused bursts instead of a weekly grind. If the original Bleach frustrated you, this is the payoff that makes the whole journey worth it.
The final cour is airing now, closing out one of the big three shonen for good.
Our take: 9/10. The best that Bleach has ever looked or felt, and a proper ending the original never got to give.
