Episode Summary & Review
Summary
With time running out before the launch of the Europa Mission, Picard and Guinan must free themselves from FBI custody. Seven and Raffi come face to face with Jurati and the horror of what she’s become.
Our Take
A talky middle chapter that mostly works because of who’s doing the talking. The interrogation scenes between Picard and the FBI agent give Patrick Stewart some real material to chew on, though the Jurati subplot veers closer to horror than this show has earned. It’s a solid setup hour, just don’t expect much forward momentum until the final act.
