Our Review
A student swallows a cursed finger and becomes the host of a legendary demon, and the fight against curses begins. MAPPA’s animation is the best in the business right now: every battle is a showcase, and the Shibuya arc is one of the most spectacular things ever aired.
The story knows when to be funny and when to kill a character you love, which keeps the stakes real. It leans on power escalation and the middle stretch meanders a touch, but when it hits, nothing else looks this good.
