Summary
Jessica and Alisa sit down for a heart to heart, while Trish tells Malcolm what she’s been doing with the inhaler.
Our Take
This one lives or dies on the Jessica and Alisa scenes, and mostly they land, even if the mother-daughter therapy act gets a bit repetitive by the end. Trish’s storyline takes a turn that’s more interesting than it has any right to be. It’s a slower, talkier hour, but the character work mostly justifies the pace.
