Our Review
Netflix’s mature audience CG trilogy (Siege, Earthrise, Kingdom): the final days of the Cybertronian civil war, played straight and grim, the…, the do or die search for the AllSpark, the…, the Autobots…, the moral compromise arcs (the…., and the animation (Rooster Teeth’s CG) is handsome if stiff. The trilogy’s ambition (a…, a war…, a war drama about the end of a world) outpaces its execution (the…, the…, the…, the pacing sags in the middle chapter), but the completist appeal and the…, the…, the G1-faithful designs satisfy.
Verdict: Watch it for the G1-faithful grimdark version. Fine…, good…, uneven but committed.
