Where it all began: 1984, the Autobots and Decepticons bring their war to Earth disguised as cars, jets, and tape decks. The show is pure Saturday-morning — cheap animation, glorious toy-commercial energy, and a mythology-building enthusiasm that accidentally created one of fiction’s longest-running franchises.
