Rosamund Pike gives it movie star gravity, and the world building is genuinely huge: cities, armies, prophecies, a magic system with rules.
Season one wobbles finding its footing, season two digs into the books’ darkness, and the fans’ complaints about changes are real but the scope is undeniable. Solid fantasy for anyone waiting between Witcher and Rings of Power seasons.
