Our Review
The infamous odd one out of the Disney Afternoon: the nephews recast as teenage jocks, Della working as a news reporter, Scrooge in a Hawaiian shirt, and the DuckTales adventure formula swapped for a sitcom vibe. It is the block’s experiment in cool, and its single season has become cult trivia.
Watch it honestly: the nephews’ character assassination is real, but the time-travel two parter is genuinely good, the animation is top-shelf Disney Afternoon, and the Don Karnage episodes remember what made the original cast work. As evidence of a network chasing the X-Men generation, it is fascinating.
Thirty nine episodes and gone, the shortest of the block. Our score: 5/10. Watch one episode out of curiosity; later reboots undid the damage for good measure.
