An action comedy about a security android that hacked its own governor module and would honestly rather watch soap operas than protect humans, except it keeps accidentally caring about them. Alexander Skarsgard plays Murderbot with perfect deadpan exhaustion, and the show gets the Martha Wells books completely.
It is funny, it is surprisingly moving, and every episode moves. The best new science fiction show in a quiet stretch of them.
