Game of Thrones Season 7
Season 7 Review
⚠ Spoiler alert Season notes below reveal how the story develops.
The long winter is here. Throughout seven thrilling episodes, the penultimate Season 7 of this blockbuster hit series focuses on a convergence of armies and attitudes that have been brewing for years.
Season Review
The compressed season: seven episodes, bullet speed plotting (ravens now fly at the speed of plot), the Loot Train battle (dragon warfare as horror), the Beyond the Wall expedition (beautiful, dumb), and the Stark sisters’ Winterfell cold war (resolved too neatly). The finale’s boat union and the Night King’s Viserion wall breach set the endgame. The dialogue at Dragonstone (the cave, the wight hunt planning) shows the strain of missing source material, but the spectacle carries it.
