Our Take
A crowd-pleasing hour with some genuinely tense ice-lake action, though you’ll have to forgive the show playing fast and loose with distance and time. The banter among the captured fellowship is the best part, giving long-missing characters a reason to talk. The ending lands emotionally even if the logic holding it together is tissue-thin. Worth it for the spectacle alone.
