Episode Summary & Review
Summary
The very next final battle for the planet Earth…The heroes battle Zod and his four compatriots in the heart of Metropolis, Conner’s loyalties are tested by Zod, and the final fate of Lor-Zod is determined. Afterward, two heroes are united in wedlock while Darkseid gains two new allies and Vandal Savage gathers his new army
Our Take
A packed, satisfying finale that sticks the landing on the Zod conflict while juggling a wedding and multiple dangling threads for a future that never came. The Metropolis fight lands hard emotionally thanks to Conner’s arc, though the Darkseid and Savage material feels more like setup than payoff. Worth it for fans who stuck with the season.
