Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Beast Boy and his team follow a lead on Violet and the trail leads to a building owned by Gretchen. The team is soon trapped in Gretchen’s X Pit, and only Vic can save them.
Our Take
A tense bottle episode that finally gives Vic a real hero moment after weeks of setup. The X Pit sequences are claustrophobic in a good way, and Beast Boy’s team gets some genuine friction instead of easy wins. It sags a bit in the middle when the trap mechanics get overexplained, but the emotional payoff lands. Worth your time if you’ve been following the Violet arc.
