Summary
When the Justice League is defeated by alien invaders, and are presumed dead, Young Justice must step up to fight in their stead.
Our Take
A grim, surprisingly heavy hour that pushes the team into grief and panic without giving them an easy out. The animation and voice work sell the trauma well, though the middle stretch of nonstop action gets a bit numbing. Still, it’s one of the season’s most affecting episodes and worth your time even if the twist is one you’ll see coming.
