Episode Summary & Review

Summary

Wrexham Football Club attempts to qualify for the playoffs as their new owners try to very quickly learn the ins and outs of a game and an industry they know nothing about.

Our Take

This episode does a nice job showing just how steep the learning curve is for Ryan and Rob, and the town’s skepticism feels earned rather than manufactured for drama. The match footage carries real tension even if you already know how the season went. A solid follow-up that keeps the human side front and center.
