Our Take
A middling entry that leans way too hard on Daniel and Wheelie, the two characters most likely to test a viewer’s patience. The misunderstanding plot with Ultra Magnus has a few decent moments, and the Decepticon subplot keeps things moving, but the comedy mostly falls flat. Fine as background viewing, though season 3 has done much better with less annoying sidekicks.
