Episode Summary & Review
Summary
On the way to Earth with a type of insecticide to use against the Insecticons, Spike, Bumblebee and Cosmos encounter Morphobots. They get away just fine, but they inadvertently take Morphobots along for the ride.
Our Take
A middling filler episode that coasts on a decent premise about invasive robot plants, then does almost nothing with it. The Morphobots gimmick is fun for a few minutes but the middle stretch devolves into repetitive chase scenes, and the Insecticon resolution feels rushed. Fine if you’re killing time, but there are much better Season 2 hours out there.
