Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When Jake helps reveal the mole in Chihara-Kai, he must weigh the risks of accepting a favor in return from Ishida. Samantha attempts to take care of her Matsuo problem. Sato’s recruitment ends with a devasting lesson in loyalty.
Our Take
A tense hour that trades action for slow-building dread, and it mostly works. Sato’s storyline lands hardest, ending on a brutal note that finally gives his character real weight. Samantha’s subplot drags a bit by comparison, but the mole reveal keeps the tension humming throughout. Worth your time, especially for where it leaves Sato heading into the back half of the season.
