Episode Summary & Review
Summary
After he apparently dies, Frank tries to live peacefully but events overtake him. Meanwhile, an ICE agent tries to track down a U.S. military heroin ring.
Our Take
A slow, moody setup hour that spends most of its runtime watching Frank fix cars and grieve in silence, which mostly works thanks to Bernthal’s presence. The Homeland Security subplot feels like a different show and drags things down. The final ten minutes kick the story into gear hard enough to justify the patience, but you’ll feel the wait.
