Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Andy auditions for a singing competition; Dwight hires an assistant to his assistant to the regional manager…himself; Kevin is jealous of Phillip.
Our Take
A busy penultimate episode that juggles three storylines without feeling scattered. Dwight’s self-appointed assistant role is classic Schrute absurdity, and Andy’s audition arc lands some real emotional weight as his time at Dunder Mifflin winds down. The Kevin jealousy subplot is thinner but gets a few laughs. It’s mostly setup for the finale, but it’s funny and oddly touching along the way.
