Summary
John contacts Evangeline, the mutant lawyer who recruited him as leader of the Underground, for help tracing the Inner Circle financial records. Andy has difficulty focusing after he has a dream of a Lauren terrified of him, and Marcos throws a celebration for the daughter that he’s never seen.
Our Take
A slow-burn setup hour that splits its time between the Underground’s detective work and the Struckers’ fraying bonds. The Marcos storyline lands some genuine emotion, but the Andy/Lauren dream material feels repetitive. Fine if you’re invested in the season’s threads, just don’t expect much forward momentum.
