Summary
Esme puts her own plan into effect, convincing the Struckers to ask Jace to transfer the prisoners at Trask. Meanwhile, Roderick tests the extent of Andy and Lauren’s powers.
Our Take
A middling hour that mostly sets up bigger things to come. Esme’s manipulation is the most interesting thread, though the show telegraphs her true motives a bit too obviously, while the Andy and Lauren power tests feel like reheated material we’ve already seen. Fine to watch if you’re invested, but don’t expect any real momentum until the final few minutes.
