Our Take
Rebecca’s day with her goddaughter gives Hannah Waddingham some lovely quiet material, and the introduction of sports psychologist Sharon finally gives the show a fresh comic and emotional target. The Dani storyline is handled with surprising tenderness rather than easy jokes. A confident, well-balanced hour that mostly sidesteps the season’s early wobble. Worth your time.
