Our Take
This is a heavy, mostly setup hour where Steven’s guilt finally boils over, and while the emotional logic lands, the pacing drags getting there. Aquamarine makes for a properly unsettling villain, but the episode ends just as things get interesting. Worth watching as the first half of a two-parter, though on its own it feels incomplete.
