Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Kragan buys a secret weapon (battle droids) to capture the Colossus and take over; when Synara discovers the plan, she tries to warn Kaz and crew, but it may be too late.
Our Take
A surprisingly tense hour that finally gives the pirate storyline some real teeth. The battle droid assault plays like a mini horror movie at times, and Synara stepping up as a defector with actual agency is the highlight. Kragan remains a fairly thin villain, but the pacing rarely slackens. One of the stronger episodes of the season and worth catching even if you’ve drifted from the show.
