Summary
Janeway forges an alliance among several hostile ships that have been preying on each other while trapped in a void.
Our Take
A surprisingly satisfying bottle episode that lets Janeway’s ideals actually cost something instead of just paying off. The premise could easily feel like a rerun of better Star Trek morality plays, but the guest aliens get enough personality that the alliance feels earned rather than forced. It’s talky and a bit tidy at the end, but the optimism lands. Worth your time.
