Summary
A band of nomadic Klingons mistake B’Elanna’s unborn child for their eagerly anticipated messiah, and they resolve to follow the baby.
Our Take
A surprisingly fun hour that leans into Klingon mythology without turning it into a joke. The messiah plot could have gone silly fast, but Roxann Dawson sells the pregnant skepticism, and the episode finds real tension in faith versus fear. The b-plot romance lands better than expected too. Not a classic, but a solid mid-season entry that respects its characters.
