Summary

Data trails a probe which has crashed on to a primitive planet. But when he crashes too, he finds himself unable to remember anything prior to the event.

Our Take

A quiet, odd hour that splits its time between Data wandering an Iron Age village with amnesia and Troi unexpectedly deciding she wants to be a commander. The Data storyline works better than it should, giving Spiner some genuinely affecting material, while the Troi plot feels like filler until the holodeck test. Uneven but pleasant, and the ending lands harder than expected.
