Summary
Troi falls for a handsome delegate who uses underhanded tactics in negotiations.
Our Take
A middling episode that leans hard on Troi’s romance, and the chemistry with Ral never quite sells, even with the fun twist about how he wins his negotiations. The wormhole subplot with the Ferengi gives it some energy, but the ending lands flat. Fine for a casual watch, just don’t expect much beyond the last ten minutes.
