Summary
Worf takes responsibility for a boy when his mother, the ships archaeologist is killed on a away mission.
Our Take
A quiet grief episode that mostly works because it keeps things small. The boy’s loss feels real, Worf’s awkward attempt at Klingon ritual is a nice character beat, and the alien twist lands without hijacking the whole hour. Some of the emotional beats are handled a bit stiffly, but it’s a solid, sincere hour worth watching once.
