Summary
An Enterprise from the past breaks through a time rift, altering the course of history.
Our Take
A rare hour where the show goes full war movie and actually pulls it off. The darker alternate timeline gives Patrick Stewart and the whole cast real material to chew on, and the stakes feel genuinely heavy instead of theoretical. The ending lands emotionally even if the time logic wobbles when you think about it. One of the strongest episodes the series ever produced.
