Summary
A widow accuses Riker of seducing her and killing her husband, a respected scientist.
Our Take
The holodeck courtroom gimmick is the whole show here, and honestly it works better than it should. Riker being put on trial via replayed memories gives Frakes some real material to chew on, and the Rashomon structure keeps things moving. The resolution is a bit tidy and the villain telegraphs early, but it’s a solid, watchable hour.
