Summary
Geordi’s life is jeopardized when an alien race kidnaps him; Picard is near death with heart complications.
Our Take
A weirdly lopsided hour where the Pakled plot lands as pure comedy, mostly unintentional, since the villains are so dim it’s hard to feel any tension. The shuttle scenes between Picard and Wesley are the real draw, surprisingly warm and well written. Worth watching for those moments alone, just don’t expect the Geordi storyline to deliver much.
