Our Take
This is the episode where the Borg debut, and honestly, it still lands. Q feels like a real threat instead of a prankster, the Enterprise getting chunked out of the ship is genuinely unsettling, and Guinan’s quiet dread adds weight. The pacing is tight and the ending leaves you uneasy in the best way. Worth your time even if you skip most of season two.
