Our Take
This is the payoff hour the first eight episodes were building toward, and it mostly lands. Gwyn’s discovery about her father hits hard, and the escape sequence has real momentum instead of just noise. Some of the emotional beats get resolved a bit fast for how long they were set up, but the ending leaves things in a genuinely interesting place. Worth sticking around for.
