Summary
Even with the guidance of their hologram advisor Janeway, the crew of The Protostar is tested when their ship is on a dangerous cosmic collision course.
Our Take
This one settles into the show’s rhythm as the kids bicker their way through a crash course in teamwork, with the holodeck training sequence standing out as the highlight. Janeway’s hologram gets more to do here and the banter lands more often than it doesn’t. A solid step up from the premiere, even if the stakes still feel a bit cartoonish.
