Summary
In a do or die last stand, Jean-Luc Picard and generations of crews both old and new fight together to save the galaxy from the greatest threat they’ve ever faced as the saga of Star Trek: The Next Generation comes to a thrilling, epic conclusion.
Our Take
A satisfying finale that mostly sticks the landing, giving the TNG crew a proper sendoff decades in the making. The space battles are genuinely thrilling and the character beats land, though the resolution leans on familiar nostalgia beats and one or two conveniences. It’s fan service, sure, but it’s earned fan service, and the final scene alone justifies the whole season.
