Episode Summary & Review
Summary
After receiving a cryptic, urgent distress call from Dr. Beverly Crusher, Admiral Jean-Luc Picard enlists help from generations old and new to embark on one final adventure: a daring mission that will change Starfleet, and his old crew forever.
Our Take
A confident, warm premiere that knows exactly who it’s for. Seeing these faces again lands better than expected, and the pacing actually gives the reunion room to breathe instead of rushing into explosions. Some of the setup is clunky and the mystery is thinner than the episode thinks, but the tone is right for once. Worth your time if you’ve been waiting for this crew.
