Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Following an unconventional and dangerous transit, Picard and the crew finally arrive at Soji’s home world, Coppelius. However, with Romulan warbirds on their tail, their arrival brings only greater danger as the crew discovers more than expected about the planet’s inhabitants.
Our Take
The arrival at Coppelius finally delivers some payoff, and the synth colony reveal gives Soji’s story real weight for the first time in a while. The pacing still lurches, though, with a mid-episode stretch that feels like padding before the cliffhanger kicks in. Worth your time for the ending alone, but this half mostly exists to set up the finale.
