Episode Summary & Review
Summary
While undercover in a pre warp society, Captain Burnham is forced to consider breaking the Prime Directive when a local tradition threatens Tilly’s life. Meanwhile, Culber tries to connect with Stamets, and Adira steps up when Rayner assigns them a position on the bridge.
Our Take
A solid Prime Directive hour that leans on classic Trek moral dilemmas, and Burnham wrestling with the rules mostly holds your attention. The Tilly undercover material is fun, though the pre-warp society feels a bit generic. The B-plots are the weaker side, with Culber and Stamets circling the same conversation again, but Adira getting a bridge role is a nice touch. Worth watching overall.
