Summary
Burnham and Book face enemies and uncover a deadly new threat to Discovery.
Our Take
A decent midseason outing that finally gives Book and Burnham something meaty to chew on after weeks of drifting apart. The action beats land well and the new threat has some real menace to it, though the mirror universe callbacks feel more like fan service than fresh ideas. Not a standout, but it moves the season’s puzzle forward without stalling.
