Summary
Billings and Hank stumble on a new mystery. Daniel and Helen receive a surprising proposition.
Our Take
A quieter, connective hour that mostly works as setup. The Billings and Hank material is the highlight, giving two reliable character actors room to breathe while the new mystery actually feels intriguing rather than tacked on. The Daniel and Helen storyline moves slower and leans on a twist you can see coming. Fine, watchable, but clearly saving its powder for later.
