Summary
After their deep space freighter is damaged, the stranded crew of the Demeter must fight to survive on a beautiful yet dangerous planet.
Our Take
A striking opener that leans on atmosphere over exposition, dropping you into an alien ecosystem that’s gorgeous one second and lethal the next. The world-building does most of the heavy lifting here, and the characters haven’t quite caught up yet. Worth a look for the visuals alone, but it’s more setup than payoff.
