Summary

Having been deprived of yet another gateway to the past and after almost losing his hat, Samurai Jack is unsure if he can still go on. Then he meets three mountain monks and joins them on their quest to climb the mountain of Fathoom.

Our Take

This one goes quiet and stays there, which is both its strength and its problem. The mountain climb looks gorgeous and the monks bring a calm, almost meditative tone that fits the show well, but not much actually happens. Worth a watch if you like the slower, moodier Jack episodes, though it won’t be anyone’s favorite.
