Our Take
A quiet, sentimental half hour that trades action for Jack’s childhood memories, and it mostly works. The flashback scenes are warm and beautifully drawn, giving the show a rare emotional anchor, though the pacing sags in the middle with a lot of lingering shots. Not essential viewing, but a nice breather if you want to know Jack a little better.
