Summary
Killer squids are after the Smiths, but luckily Rick created a decoy family. Or are they real? Can the decoys make decoys? Who’s real? Are you real?
Our Take
A paranoid, recursive blast that turns its own premise into a hall of mirrors. The escalating decoy-on-decoy carnage is genuinely funny, and the show’s cynicism about family units gets a good workout. It loses a little steam once the joke’s logic becomes predictable, but the animation and dark gags keep it moving. Worth your time, easily one of the season’s better outings.
