Our Take
The Alaska trek finally gives the present-day storyline some urgency, and Kurt Russell remains the best thing this show has going. The 1950s timeline keeps doing heavy lifting, though the pacing still stumbles when it lingers on family drama nobody asked for. Worth your time if you’re in it for the monsters and the mystery.
