Summary
When Ptonomy is unable to break through the barriers in David’s memories, Melanie orders him to speed up the procedure. Meanwhlie, Brubaker tells Amy what her brother really is.
Our Take
This episode slows things down and mostly benefits from it. The memory work with Ptonomy and Melanie gives us our clearest look yet at David’s past, and the visual tricks keep the show’s weird energy alive even when the plot barely moves. Amy’s storyline is the weaker thread, feeling more like setup than anything else. Solid, if not quite as striking as the first two hours.
