Summary
After a fatal shooting, Green Lantern Hal Jordan and new recruit John Stewart set out to prove it was an extraterrestrial event.
Our Take
This pilot takes a grounded, almost cop-show approach to the Green Lantern mythos, and the buddy dynamic between the seasoned Hal and rookie John carries most of the hour. The mystery setup is intriguing but the pacing drags in spots, with a lot of exposition to sit through. Worth a watch if you like slow-burn sci-fi, just don’t expect big action.
